Easyread: A new attitude from Day 1, substantial progress in 3-4 weeks

Affiliate Sales with Easyread

I am delighted that you are interested in partnering with us on Easyread.

Easyread is a relatively high value course (~US$700), delivering a life-changing benefit to the children who use it. That is good for them and also potentially good for you since it is far easier to build income from a high ticket item than $20 ebooks.

There is also a huge market, as I will describe below.

And this is a closed affiliate system, managed off our own website. You will be working alongside ourselves and a handful of other affiliate partners, not hordes of spamming idiots.

Background

We have been developing the Easyread System for 9 years, with the last 5 years online. And we have been marketing it more seriously over the past 12 months. We have taught roughly 600 children to read over the last year, mainly in the UK, but also around the English-speaking world.

Our aim is to be teaching at least hundreds of thousands of children to read around the world in 5-10 years time.

How to teach reading has been fought over by two camps for the last 200+ years. You have the phonics fanatics and the real books warriors. The former believe in teaching children by getting them to chant the different sounds (phonemes) in the language (there are 43). Then they try to match them to the different letter patterns that can represent them (there are over 200 of them). The real books warriors believe that reading is not about all of that at all, it is about "getting meaning". So you learn to read by reading, just as you learnt to speak by speaking.

Generally the phonics fanatics can teach 8 or 9 out of 10 children to read. The Real Books Warriors can teach around 6 or 7 out of 10 children to read. Currently only 80% of 11-year-olds can read. So 600,000 children will finish elementary school this year still unable to read, just in the USA.

We have a new approach that can change that.

And with our target market of 6-11 year-old children struggling to read, there are over 3.75 million parents around the world in need of help.

We give the children a phonic introduction, linked to very strong imagery. Then we teach them to read through guided reading using our unique "TrainerText" approach.

TrainerText has the conventional text set with the phonic imagery floating above it. The children build confidence day by day by decoding stories using this facility. So, in some ways it encorporates elements from the philosophy of both camps in a pragmatic approach that gets results. There is quite a bit more to it, of course, but that is the key.

And Easyread operates through our membership site here at easyreadsystem.com. Each child (whether at home or at school) has his or her own account and accesses a lesson each day through it.

I am telling you all of this because it places us outside the mainstream and they have not been called the "Reading Wars" for nothing. There are many reputations and careers at stake and we cannot expect our innovation to be welcomed with open arms. Our task now is to swing opinion behind us through the results we can get. But it is not a job for the fainthearted!

The good news is that what we do works. Parents see that all the time and we have been running very successful trials in schools as well. So the results we can achieve will eventually tell their own tale and never fail to be exciting when you get feedback from the children, parents and teachers.

The majority of our income comes from parents, around the world. The presentation is in UK English, but it has proved to work well in the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, China and elsewhere around the world.

The system is currently optimised for 6-11 year-old children. However, we are working on two new versions for younger children and youths/adults.

Our Affiliate Program

I have no intention of running an open affiliate program. What I am looking for is a small group of partners who can reach some of the millions of parents in need of help for their children.

If you are in touch with those people and want to deliver value to them, read on. If not, this is not the project for you. I need people with genuine longterm relationships with their audience, not spammers looking to turn a buck.

Our pricing is structured to allow us to run a 30% commission on any partner bringing in new business. And we have the potential to run discounts for the customers as well.

Our current price is US$715, so a 30% commission on that is $214.50 per sale.

How To Apply

If you feel that we might be a good match for you, please send me an email to introduce yourself. The key information that I need is:

  1. How you are in contact with parents at present
  2. What sort of products and services you already offer them
  3. How you plan to market Easyread to them
  4. Details of two merchants that you already work with, that I can contact for references

Please send all of this to:

david@easyreadsystem.com

While it is more work to do all of this on the front end, it will benefit you longterm in comparison to working with companies that allow any Tom, Dick or Harry to run around shouting about the product you are trying to market.

Once you have made contact, I can set up a tracking page for you on our website so that we can track the parents visiting our site from yours.

We track the initial visit, wherever that may be from. Many parents visit our site 2-3 times before signing up. But if that first visit was triggered by you, that is what we will track.

I much look forward to being in touch,

Best wishes
