We have found that every child has the ability to progress with reading and I am sure that we can give your child the help and support needed to develop good reading skills.
Some people think that reading is beyond children with learning difficulties. But I do not believe that to be true. In fact, reading can be a great tool for developing a child's mental capabilities and a great joy for any child.
The Progress To Expect
It is normal that your child will progress with Easyread more slowly than a child with an average learning capacity. However, I am confident that you will see incremental progress each day.
That will be our aim.
Unique Easyread "TrainerText"
The Easyread Foundation Course lasts 10 days and is full of the latest techniques for guiding your child down the right path. I would recommend taking 2-3 weeks over this initial foundation. It is very important.
But it is the lessons after the foundation course, which truly make Easyread special.
We use our unique Easyread TrainerText to allow your child to read our stories unaided. It is a bit like the trainer wheels on a learner's bicycle. With TrainerText, your child will be doing all of the reading process, but with the aid of our phonic images above the text. They are just there to help when needed.
The Easyread Process
We can set up Easyread for you in the next 5 minutes. Your child will then be able to log on and receive the first lesson.
Each lesson is just 10 minutes long and they build day by day. So once your child has finished lesson 1, lesson 2 will become available 12 hours later. This improves the retention rate of the lessons.
Many parents feel a 10 minute lesson is too short. But our results show that less is sometimes more!
Since it is all accessed over the Internet, you can do each lesson from any PC connected to the web. We provide all the audio instructions needed for your child to succeed. All you need to do is support and encourage.
The children doing Easyread are always keen to get to their next lesson, because they are silly and fun and based on the computer.
