Sion is starting to enjoy reading very much and asks to do his reading without us asking him. He really enjoys the stories and his confidence in reading is very high. He now takes a matter of minutes to read each story part of the day’s lesson. He does not guess very often and he sounds the word correctly but sometimes he doesn’t put them together but when you sound the elements of the word out he recognises it straight away. He does have some problems with saying certain sounds himself has he was slow with his speech developing.

Easy read has been a valuable addittion to his learning and he enjoys the lessons very much and is now in a good routine and does itevery day religiously. His personal tutor and school teacher have seen improvements in his ability. I think the biggest thing easyread has given him is a confidence in his reading and he no longer says ” I can’t read”.
